Here in the Developer Challenge Lounge (Carillion Dining - Private Rooms 1 and 2) (where the cool delegates reside) we thought it would be a good idea to start a play list for the conference. I will start: Stevie Wonder - Superstition Please respond to this, and we will create a play list - probably Spotify, or something similar, a permanent memento of the conference! It will be played at least in the lounge on my laptop.
Bright sun outside and and cool temperatures inside greeted more than 30 participants in the Hydra Workshop offered by Matt Zumwalt, Media Shelf, with a lot of help from his friends. There is still space available for our pre-conference workshop tomorrow morning from 10 to Noon. We'll be teaching people to use Python to access Fedora. In 2 hours, we'll go through creating a Django webapp for basic Fedora content management (ingest, editing Dublin Core, etc.) using eulfedora - ( https://github.com/emory-libraries/eulfedora ).
